Suggestions

A few things have been talked about but forming a group of a few people to share xp and attack/defense powers.

A leaderboard on the website to see where people rank with skill/weapons/gold etc

another option on the leaderboard is maybe showing who is the fastest at offense gain or defense gain or who had the biggest gain in swords/shields over the last 24/48 hours....

ooh leaderboard sounds nice.
Group XP sounds... Hm...

what about a bounty or special item? Say a certain sword could do 2x damange but you couldnt defend with it so it would end up getting passed around a lot .....

or a bounty if you kill x many people in a row, if somoene kills you, they get 2x your gold that you have on you....

another possibility is to do a whonpc and see what animals are around you or other npc and give them certain levels. example, a General you have to be 20k or higher in skill to attack, a Major 15k or higher, etc.

gives some higher ups something to kill besides the same dragon and elephant at level 1.

another idea is seen <playername> and list when that player was last seen...

it seems very hard to upgrade your weapons on fighting for gold, so what about a "bank" command that would put however much gold on you in the bank. you wouldnt be able to "bank" within 30 or 60 seconds of being attacked, which would still allow people to steal gold from each other. i find it very hard to fight animals to upgrade, but its easier to steal other peoples weapons....

I like this idea, maybe you could win the special weapons/items from a contest.
